V-BAR COOLING TOWERS

V-bar cooling towers are designed with splash-type fills made of PVC mesh. These fills require minimal maintenance as they are highly resistant to clogging. The open design of the V-bars allows water to flow freely through the fills without obstruction. As a result, these cooling towers are particularly suitable for applications with high total dissolved solids (TDS) and dissolved solvents. They can also be used effectively in saltwater applications.

The splash fills used in V-bar cooling towers come in two variants: PVC splash fills and FRP splash fills. The FRP splash fills are capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 95 degrees Celsius. This makes them an excellent alternative to two-stage cooling towers. Additionally, the FRP V-bars are chemically inert, enabling operation in highly acidic and reactive environments where the cooling medium is something other than water.
